Okay so far i have a few complaints. No adult reasonably looks at a kid and decides “youre my enemy now”, not a baby. Secondly, 20% viewership revenue? Child actors are notoriously underpaid. Thats more than the idols would be given individually, even if you didnt pay the set workers, investors, or use revenue for future projects. It would have made more sense to have the american get upset over the project, and going out of their way to sabotage it, not to get at the child, but because, lets say for example, they believed the show/live action drama contradicted their branding, and he personally wouldnt want to be associated with something he may have viewed as silly. It would make sense for the american of the group to not understand korean audiences as well, and given america’s different social expectations of men, he may have genuinely felt insulted that the team would willingly go along with this, or perhaps he would have initially agreed expecting the deal to fall through. It would have made more sense than just having a adult being a hater. I just find the plot points of a adult who doesnt know the mc just picking on them for plot purposes. Put more reason behind it.
