Honestly I love this story for the meta part of it - the fact that Aka purposely sought to subvert every single trope he saw himself falling into.

The exploration he did with this is probably the reason he's so well known now.

@Targetto12 To be fair with the ending, it was axed. Axed series either rush an ending, make one but have loads left unanswered, or just have to make do with however they can end it.

Very obviously axed, but enjoyed it all way through. Could have become a masterpiece if it had the time it needed. Would have probably been like Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer but even better I would argue.

...holy shit. I just read the author's note at the end of the manga and checked the author's profile to see if they've restarted the series. I didn't even realise this was the same mangaka that created Kaguya.

I'm legitimately speechless. Well, I guess he managed to make a name for himself. All we can do now is wait.
