That Oracle is gonna die in the future, that's MY prophecy!

... Oh yeah, it's in the girl's body... Forget what I said.

desscaras dont like this prophecy one bit, or maybe ichi just starting to grown on her

also wouldnt acquiring the world hater just make him the new world hater, and just restart the cycle?

I find it endearing that he covers Kumugi with a blanket despite not knowing her for very long.

These character designs are S++

Also honestly, it'd be kind of refreshing for a shonen series to actually kill off it's protagonist at the end.

super fun design for the oracle but what a fucked up situation for a person to be in lol, wonder if that'll be changed by our cast at some point

as for the prophecy itself, excited to see Dess talk more about it. Wonder if she's frustrated that she has to leave the sacrificial play to someone else rather than taking it on herself, especially when Uroro's trial was rigged

Not a big fan of the chosen one prophecy trope. Ichi was already special by being the only male witch and the world hater majic was already fine as a main antagonist. However, whilst I'm not a fan of this minor plot development, I do like Ichi's personal resolve and how Descaras is not happy about the sacrifice situation. I'll take the trope if it is an excuse to explore the characters' mentalities.

Absolutely love Descaras for being not happy as the prophecy didn't bode well in her style

Well, there are various ways to view prophecies. This one doesn't really inform any actions. Ichi didn't seek out the WH because he was the only one who could beat it because the prophecy said so, he was already going to do that, he already had targeted the WH, so it's not really lazy plot fuel. Also he's the protagonist. If anything the prophecy is more just a reason for why the witches were so set on the Uroro capture.
