@Fuko I hope this story becomes something like: after running and getting together with the prostitute, Ichizou starts to understand what Shimada said seeing what has become of the world (Japan) after the introduction of guns in the military, and the shift in social status. Him being more intelligent than others uses this opportunity to somewhat improve his life style and opportunities, until someday the huge gay samurai finds him and wants revenge for killing his boyfriend. (This last part could also be as soon as he finds the prostitute again, but then I don't know how story would progress, I supose it would be the end or new caracthers are involved, maybe blaming him for his past 'criminal' record and he tries to clean his name. Either way I supose it should be finally an arc where he show his growth, maybe also growing a pair xD

When I saw Jiro has a writer instead of writing the comic himself, I thought it won't be as bizarre or cruel as his previous works. Though it is no where as surreal as his other works, the brutality in this one burns slower, but nonetheless has all of the heat.
