All he has left is his arch-nemesis the super-samurai and the prostitute they both vied for.
Also the Satsuma has had a decent character build-up, but so far mangaka-san has mercilessly removed main characters like stones on a farm field, why keep them around when Ushigorou has no gain in fighting them. I doubt he'll team up with his nemesis to hunt them, since super-samurai kilt his sis.
Maybe we'll see separate storylines merging together.
