do ya really gotta use slurs in the translation?
hey man, scanlation is free real estate. go make an edit and post it. I'm actually dead serious btw. There's no rule against it. lol

Personally I'm happy scans aren't completely taken over by zoomers yet.

You really think I'd bother enough to repost for such a small edit? What?

I don't believe that the original was intended to be offensive, and it's obvious that translation should avoid doing large changes to the text's message.
It's not just some "get off my lawn young whippersnappers" thing, this is like the baseline with quality and human decency.

Of course I don't, the first to complain are always the last to try and make a change. That part of the post was purely rhetorical at best I assure you.

Then you probably believe wrong. Japan isn't a safe zone yet when it comes to mental disability. The way it was written in raws would have likely annoyed you just as much.

Could probably point you to a couple of em off the top of my head where strong and offensive language are the norm. Delinquent manga I mean, are you new to them or are you just fed up? This is very common.

Well...that's my objective response anyway. In my honest opinion, I'm hoping you drop this out of annoyance. The less people like you read manga in general the less chance of more official "publishers" having their way with their "translations". Call it gatekeeping if you want. And I'm not saying this to be rude or mean. If the way I feel makes you angry I apologize, but I won't take it back. I truly believe the whole Get-Offended generation needs to screw off.

"Get offended generation"? I've been an adult for like a decade, and this is not some new discourse. Honestly you just sound like a bitter grandpa echoing their own bitter grandpa about how the youth these days is too spoiled and sensitive. Gatekeeping people should screw off for the consideration of the enjoyment of literally everybody else.
