Doubt anyone read the release post on our blog, so:

"It seems the author decided to give her a pretty heavy accent for the volume bonus pages, and then it barely shows up in the normal chapters that released originally."

Which is why the accent dies off pretty much as soon as the bonus colour pages end and only shows up in one panel for some reason in the last two colour pages that would originally have been the first two pages.

@ixlone I found it weird, for someone with such a thicc accent to just talk normally as soon as she got into the city ... I thought she was just trying to speak in a neutral Japanese to fit in but that's something she should've said herself like a bubble of thought, like "I don't wanna sound like a country girl!".
