I‘m happy for any tl. When I’m scanlating a manga, I’m happy for any reader, even when it means I’m doing it for 1 person.

Is it worth translating or is it not should not be based on "usefulness" (as in, the number of people reading something) but on your desire of sharing a story you can read and know some can't, I think.

Popularity is very fluid and you can't easily guess where it will go up or down in advance, so I don't think it's a good thing to pay too much attention on that.

I'm quite enjoying this manga, and I'm still reading it, TL.

concerning the SFX: assuming what I've heard is true and that the majority of the work is just cleaning and redrawing the original SFX, i genuinely don't mind if you go the oft-taken route of not bothering to clean the original SFX, and instead just writing the translation (or even just the transliteration) next to the original SFX - it should drastically reduce the workload, while still adding the necessary context they sometimes convey (e.g. out-of-frame events like doorbell/phone ringing, something/someone falling to the ground, etc.)

either way, good work so far on the translations, and I'm looking forward to whatever comes next in the story
