I actually think Ritsu has the death flag this time. She had her focus on how cut throat the business is, her reveal that before the competition she was getting tired of things and had half given up, the throwaway line like 10 chapters ago where Mimi says 'even if we don't make it, we can always become underground idols together' and she said that sounded like a fun idea?

It definitely feels like its going to lead into her accepting that how cutthroat the business is just isnt for her, and that she might rather be an underground idol, working hard in a different kind of way. I dunno.

It seems so, but in the end the series is not tagged as yuri by the publisher. However, it's missing "Battle-Action".

Also, I have been noticing more recently that the art has been shifting into all the girls having nearly the exact same face. If you go back to the earlier volumes, girls like Shuri and Hibana per example had noticeably sharper eyes, different eyebrow shapes and a bit of a sharper face shape in general, while Mimi was more of a moeblob, but now it feels like every face is drawn like Mimi's.

It's gotten really bad lately to the point it is obvious like on page 8 where Hibana and Koyuki's faces are litterally the same aside from Koyuki's mole. I feel it's robbed the characters from a lot of personality, even though we actually know more about them than before.
