I'm so used to stories out of eastern countries having a slavery fetish, that this series doesn't disturb me nearly as much as it apparently does to others (based on the extras). It anything, the fact that others are disturbed by this series is likely a good thing. It should. I already have highly negative views of stories with slavery, and specifically don't portray it as horrible or at least a punishment (crime slaves).

This. If the trigger is indeed "transportation after sensing death" both Chika and the former boss (does he have a name? I'll call him FB) could have been killed in vain. FB wanted to assault Chika and hit her over the head from behind and bandage head riled Raz up to kill FB while he was lying on the ground, presumed to be unconscious.
In this situation neither would have felt death coming and bandage was more than willing to sacrifice Chika for the mere chance that things might go the way he wished.

That aside it's indeed interesting that humans and aberrant heads are able to procreate, however less for Rule34 reasons, than the possible world building consequences for me.

Now we know that Aberrants and humans are compatible... Well, its iffy because while mummy head is a human-Aberrant hybrid, he did use those bandages to completely cover his head, save his hair. Why? I don't think its a facial deformity brought genetics by being a hybrid. But more like his visage is unsettling to both human and Aberrants? Probably like Ichigo from Bleach? One of his form where its half mask half human? I dunno what its called because I am not a Bleach fanboy. Thank God for that mercy.
