I honestly wonder what happens when he breaks and doesn't care what she does to him any more. Torture is only effective so long as you fear it. If he truly is the only one she wants bullying her (cause she loves him and wants him to herself) then she won't kill him. And if he ever realizes that she loses all power in the relationship.
