The author could have just used a ww1 tank which is still somewhat viable and requires fewer resources to build but a ww2 tank

einstein need to single handedly found and explore the location of all these resources, oil, tungsten, uranium, and exploit them. not only that he also need to build up the industrial capabilities first. if its true, he need power and influence to find the right person first. and then take over the kingdom as the new king. these process would need enormous time because not only he need political power, he also need to train these people.

ten years are needed to get him started to current story.

T-34-85? I guess either the author doesn’t know what a M4 is, or Einstein has a Soviet engineer working with him.

interwar tankettes would still be more cost-efficient. The only WW1 tank that would be cost-efficient enough is the Renault FT. Any of the Marks and the Whippet would be inflexible. St Chamond and A7V are incredibly cost and manpower-intensive. If you want radios tho for comms, you still need an interwar tank like a M2 or a M3 Stuart.

A T-34-85 would certainly be overkill for fighting unarmored forces. Any AFV would be enough.
