This is yet another work I've followed from first chapter to last throughout it's release cycle.

Megumi Saredarake ended well, but GoTobun Hanayome was... well... I cried, even though it was dumb. The Gal of the kitchen ended pretty well, even if it was creepy for every teacher who read it...

I'm not sure why these end so poorly?
This was a light manga, not delving into serious stuff, but even the flash-forward (when Paisen was sick!) would've been a better ending than this; I hope we get a bonus chapter with something like that in it.

...yep. It got a little drawn out over the judo arc, in my opinion, but I think this is still a great piece of work. The ending was a little subdued, but I thought it fitting.

One of my favorite mangas over the last number of years, last chapter felt a little weak, especially compared to the recent ones, but thats okay, it was a fine end to an excellent manga, one i will defiently re-read once i get all the remaining volumes on my shelf.

Also thank you to the scanlation team, thanks to you I could keep reading and not wait 3-4 months between every volume.

The previous chapters were more exciting and conclusive than the actual ending. Ehh. I hope the epilogue is more satisfying. Still a very good manga, even if the last chapter was kind of mid.

It was a great ride for sure but I hate that it ended on a confession. All the great romcoms atm are showing what happens after. It's not new but it's a trope from the past that should stay in the past.

it didn't really feel like a "confession" to me, more so a proclamation of love...in front of a school's entire population...

sadly, looks like author really decided to make the endpoint egalitarian. it always seemed like we had a chance of seeing a real reversal with nagatoro becoming submissive. this manga's still good but that's truly missed potential.
