Well, despite the serious rush because of the axe, it was decent enough, it became early on that it was going to be a mess and it was. Who even was Ichika? Randomly introduced and apparently had backstory with Kippei’s big bro.

At least we got a nice epilogue and a wedding (though it would have been cool if Makoto would have worn a suit as well, but the dress is also pretty)
It was also great to see the wife of Makotos childhood friend. Yunoki is really, really good at drawing women, almost all of the ones from this manga are 10/10s

Ichika was Kippei's brother's fiancee. She got left behind when he ran away to travel the world and Kippei's mother tried to get her to marry Kippei instead when he came back to take over the inn.

You get to see how the author had some ideas for many characters if the manga didn't get the axe. But on the other hand it would certainly wouldn't be as "memorable" as the ending we got.
