Chapter 5 is missing a half in which the kids introduce themselves, there is an explanation about something (didn't bother translating everything, sorry) and the guy introduces himself using the username from his gamer days, which happened to be the same name as the demon lord.

Okay to edit my comment, they apparently did pick up the sword. But like, MC just refused to use it because quote "its too long and heavy"? A goblin was swinging it around just fine and they're supposed to be about as strong as a toddler, if you're a weak bitch just work out a bit. Also, yeah its long, thats the fucking point. Do you have no idea how combat works? The idea is to keep your opponent as far away from you as possible, thats why spears and projectiles were so effective during the medieval era. Are you seriously telling me you'd rather stick with your cheap aluminum screwdrivers? Its your best option for survival until you can afford something that fits you better. I swear to god if they follow the trope of the MC using twin daggers. There was a fucking reason why daggers were considered a weapon of assassination or a hold out weapon if you lost your main. Because they require you to get extremely close to your opponent, meaning you're most likely going to get stabbed even if you kill your opponent miraculously.

Also an additional edit that enrages me even more. its not even a longsword or a broadsword the thing is very obviously some form of shortsword and is only as long as MCs arm. Which is actually a pretty sensible length for his size and body type. So not only is he wrong, but hes wrong  and stupid

What kind of dogshit MMO is most efficiently played solo? The hallmark of MMO gameplay is being social and filling one role in a greater strategy, whether in a party with friends or a minmaxed raiding party.

Considering he's like an adult on the inside maybe he didn't wanna ask younger kids to from a party, and it'd be hard to convince older adventurers too unless it's common to take an 'apprentice' under their wing but a lot of these isekai have ppl go solo more or less (unless there's slaves to do his bidding lol)
