@areticentreader I think you misunderstood the panel with Minori telling Asa she loves her; I think in the original Japanese RAW of the chapter the text in the dialogue bubbles is in Japanese but was typeset to be mirrored backwards. Hi Wa Mata Noboru simply kept that detail of the script when they translated it in to English. It would neat if @Kewl0210 could show us what the original RAW of this panel looked like.

@DPLBatoDex oh I knew it was meant to be mirrored, I just figured while I was trying to translate everything else I'd mention it in case anyone got a headache reading it or something. but yeah I agree, seeing the original would be super cool

ahh, there's so much to love in this chapter. asa stubbornly wanting makio to tell her the "secret", and then getting frustrated when what makio tells her is very grounded, sincere advice on how to improve-- which wasn't what asa wanted, she wanted her to tell her how to get good at writing! surely there's a magic trick to it, not this complicated stuff! (lol) makio then starting on more abstract, "artists'" way of thinking of it, which asa also doesn't understand, the fact makio wants to keep her lyrics out of a parental sort of affection at her raw youthful creativity, her precious first foray into creative writing... all the foreign languages being words with "hidden" meanings that she doesn't understand... it's all so so so good. i love it so much
