Thank you for the update! I like it that the FL isn't all that super bright and calculating and confident right from the beginning like a lot of other reincarnation/isekai stories. It's more realistic and relatable.

@Lioslin I somewhat disagree because our MC saved the prince when he was beaten by some bandits. And her trying to strike a deal w/ him . This story gonna show that they gradually gain each other’s respect and etc.

@SaltyMegane But he was intentionally getting beat up there for information which she ruined for him. Plus her trying to strike a deal was rather roundly looked down at by him.
At best he acts like she's a dancing monkey who might do a trick if he watches her long enough. I don't see the respect you see tbh.

@penguinslovesnow I agree. I'd also rather see them gain respect for each other over time, than have them be amiable with each other right away. It's makes for a more interesting dynamic. I get that the ML doesn't seem like a great love interest atm, but there is such thing as character development.

so what did the author gain from these 2 chapters besides creating a big confusing mess.
So did the prince just come for the lol's and to see how he could make them dance if so sounds very manipulative and type to act like a puppeteer.
way to go FL for sticking up for her servant. Wonder what his impression of her is now.
To me this part of the arc has felt like the author lost control of the story and made things much more complicated then they needed to be.

@Lioslin Well the first chapter/ prologue shows they have contractual relationship . The first season gonna show character development and Second season continues off where prologue is?
I think they’re gonna have mutual respect eventually .

-In chapter 16 , the CP smiles at MC . MC still obv cautious of CP and they probably exchanged letters.
-In chapter 21, it’s raining and MC’s carriage is stuck within mud . MC helps her servants to pull the carriage . CP is walking along the road w/ his escort and sees MC. CP helps MC w/ carriage situation and they managed to pull Carriage out. MC faints and wakes up inside CP’s carriage . MC has towel? because of the rain soaking her . They have talk within Carriage .

@space_turtle as a modern person, the FL considering that prince as an ally is already a insult. He's not a emperor and treat not a single person of a Count house with the minimum respect. He has authority but didn't show any respect since his debut. The way he treated her was unbearable, there was a few hundred ways to exercise his position without destroying the innocent, or maybe a could shoulder.

The trope "maybe that one could be of some use since she has half a brain" should never be applied to the Mc of the book, and the FM be okay with that, especially as a modern person transmitted, is an insult.

NVM my rant, can't stand this kinda of senseless abuse and the FM still consider as ML and the Prologue just show dark future.

I shouldn't have started this book.

this comic is supposed to be romance at some point, but this is no way to start of a romantic relationship anywhere. awful. They could maybe become business partners or some shit but never ever lovers. he may be right but the way he acts and threats the people around him is just awful. and I kinda doubt he will learn to be better further on... meh

He didn't respect nor act as a good guest for anybody of the count house. He exerted his authority as a brute. He could just act as a good guest and outsmart everyone there with his brain without mistreating the hosts, that were innocent since the beginning.
Not to mention that he wasn't the Crown Prince.
