Yeahhh they've both shown to be absolutely terrible at communicating the most important things, Kai from childhood and Masa at least from his marriage onwards. Right now, it does seem like they could play gay possum indefinitely >.<
If only there was a very important third party kinda-sorta involved in this relationship... :3

And yeah, Masa-yan is very much sending mixed signals, but in his defense, I feel like at least half of it is unconscious. We don't see much of him in that last frame in this chapter, but that's looking to me very much like the sweatdrop of a person discovering things about himself as he lies there in bed with his male childhood bestie... 👀

Well, he's very much not sleeping, that's for sure XD He has the same vaguely haunted look as Kai, so I dare to hope he's thinking something along the same lines as him 🤞
