it's definitely a Chinese manhua , for this plot of 'eliminate the demonstration leader' and their self-aware IA , their will kill a sentient being only because their didn't want to be their slave and want some basic respect and liberty ? .
I'm also positively okay with @emerfirek , the think 'i didn't have authority for this' and it's more important to milk money of this game than assure the safety of their CLIENT is disgustedly realist because we have may big company who didn't give a fart for the consequence of there creation and want only gain resources/reputation/money but voluntary ignore the many problem their create and in place delegate the trouble shouting to some lower or external power !
