My guess is he’s either a villain kept from harming the prince by Yvonne or he’s a good guy who was only doing the prince’s bidding because he thought that that’s what Yvonne would want (without asking her).

Ok so here is where I just dont get the plot like at all.
In OG story Prince and Yvonne end up happily ever after.
In this timeline though Prince is abusive and hates her for some reason. We can rule out unreliable narrator since the OG story was told from the Heroines perspective.
So why is this timeline so fecked up and why has fmc even stayed around? She could go anywhere with her level of money and live comfortable forever.
If its the world trying to force the plot that also makes no sense to have the og heroine be abused and thrown away. This new character introduced seems to be possibly another reincarnated individual.
