@Kaarme I think it's more so about age. I used to love sugar when I was younger, eating fucking triple chocolate cakes and what not. Now they just make me feel sick. Rereading this series, I kinda want Demon Lord to just break everyone that made her feel and shape her into "counting wood grains, because no one said what I should do". Her crying over simple kindness is just anvil. Kill them all!
