I'm glad there is a proper villainess finale here. Long stories are fun and all but I'd rather read short stories that I could see the end of it before my life come to an end. There're so many axed stories that I was worry if I could see a proper story of different genres.

I love long stories when they make sense, but they're often artificially prolonged by introducing retcons, blatant deus ex machinas, constantly reintroducing old villains, or the most prevalent one - there's always someone behind the current villain, and someone behind them, and thus the "villain chain" never ends.

I wouldn't call it whitewashing. She was dark skinned only because of Gerald's protection, so it would actually make sense plot-wise to brighten her skin color after she received Grace's protection. That being said, I was actually glad that they returned her dark skin color.
