So here we are, the reason behind god choosing our MC to take place of Overlord is not random. It is quite possible that Overlord and MC were same person, Overlord died with whole world dying with him due to his last burst and then he may have reincarnated into Luci Feng where he learnt new sciences and then came back.

Or other way around their body has been switched but it is highly unlikely. Cassandra has slept with MC many times and Overlord even if he doesn't love her would have not let himself wear a green hat, and if he was controlling Luci Feng back on Earth he would not have been able to talk to him everytime MC wants as he would not have been so free, he is just dreaming the memories of MC.

@abc1 I'm rereading the series right now and I'm not finding any such moments thus far so if you can be specific about the reference please do so, because all I have seen thus far is them getting interrupted, him being too embarrased to go all the way, or him undercover/in disguise pretending she's his lover. And this bdsm moment escapes me so again please reference exactly where this is if you could.
