Thanks for the chapi.
And for english people, like "french" fries, "french" toast isn't french. The recipe is so old that it would be like we said the french invented sugar.

I hope there isn't a "she gets skinny because being fat is ugly" troupe. She looks pretty cute with her current thiccness.

Girl isn’t even fat. A tad plump. Maybe just lose a bit for health reasons and keep the rest.

Yeah I hope she can accept herself how she is. If there is romance then I hope the guy loves her when she is like that, and doesn't have to become skinny just because.... @hedgemoney

Hate how she keeps mentioning she's fat when she's totally fine. Hope she doesn't go on a weight loss journey for no reason
And hott butler is hott

Y'all please I understand that she ain't a landwhale but she is still indeed fat. For once an artist is actually showing the fat character to be pudgy properly and for that I'm thankful. That being said overweight is overweight and yes she does need to lose weight given how pudgy she is depicted.
Will it kill her to stay at that weight? No. Is it healthy to stay at that weight? No.
Being healthy isn't a black and white if you do x you will die early if you do y you will live longer. It is small inconveniences to your general well being that quickly stack up into a major problem if not dealt with at an earlier stage. Which I would argue she is a bit past given that she has already made it into a coping mechanism.
Tl;dr You might like more cushion for the pushing but unhealthy is still unhealthy.

Yep, "french" bread is called pain perdu in french, it's a recipe mostly used with hardened bread over here if some are left. It's not really eaten on a common basis tho, more like "eh, I have time to lose, why not make some" type.

@Lioslin That only matters in the general sense. But we have no idea on what the preferred weight would be for her based on her genetic makeup or her lifestyle. There are those who are heavier naturally and would still be considered healthy as body weight isn't as black and white like you said. So that part on health needs a bit of revision. At most she lies on the range of 25-30% body fat which is rather normal for the average individual.

Anyways, that aside. Anything above or below the average set by the WHO or w.e is considered overweight and underweight regardless of their health. This should not be confused with the derogative slang used when referring to Americans or Gaijin. It's just what they decided would be the best health for longevity. That part is correct and people should understand that being called fat by a doctor isn't always a bad thing where you are healthy. But if your doctor is calling you thicc, I would advise seeing a different doctor, cuz that Doc is thirsty.

Plus, she has already lost weight. And since sugar is a rarity in that world, she will probably keep a lot off. Doubt she’s at risk for the ‘beetus or cardiac arrest.

@JWChibi That's because Japan doesn't have an obesity epidemic in their country. The standards of normal weight versus over weight are different than places like USA where 2/3 the population is over weight and 1/3 of the population is obese. (or in other words, half the over weight people are so overweight they are obese or even morbidly obese) What passes for fat in their (Japanese)perception is someone over weight, while most people in USA don't note a person is fat until they are obese. Also, both fat shaming and skinny shaming is a thing, so most people don't even remark on weight at all.

Then there is the fact this is a not only a manga but a shoujo manga that tends to beautify the characters and your so called "fat girl" protagonist turns into a beautified mildly chubby girl.
