Well at least they haven't turned her I to their personal chef slave or something
Also, nobody ever tried the black berries, ever?! They probably didn't even smell rotten and animals would definitely be eating them. No one tried, not even an idiot or as a dare, how do they even have sugar with that logic.
@Kireato Well yeah but, judging by the fact that everyone in the room had tried them before, they're definitely something that some people in that world do eat, and like, it's really hard to pick a bunch of blueberries (and they totally are just blueberries) and not end up with an even mix of some that are sweet and some that are sour regardless of what color they are.
I get why it's gotta be this way for Isekai Escapist Fantasy Reasons, but golly, sometimes that ol' willing suspension of disbelief really does get pushed a little too hard in this genre

If I had to guess what the author is thinking of, blackberries might look similar to raspberries, and if you
I'm almost curious enough to go looking for a WN or LN translation to see if our MC thought about what they were called back in Japan. Could be black currants, these could be blueberries.
Edit: https://ncode.syosetu.com/n7222ff/47/ MTL says they taste like raspberries, nothing about the look of the berry.
