Why would you grant the wish of the man who kind of orchestrated the death of families, children included. Why would Lark allow this in his territory, this heir wannabe. Even if it's to kinda f*ck with him because the result is a muddy mess and not what he expected, this is not a satisfying conclusion. Me no likey.

So he damned his daughter to a cruel fate because of this, yeah the transaction is absolutely a scam and I'm pretty sure she has to clean up his mess.

Those Star Scales are such pieces of shit hmmmm idk. Can't wait for Rania to obliterate them lmao. They're clearly such malicious entities or Atleast actively harmful in their indifference/supposed impartiality/fairness.

No wonder MC hates the stars and the church who worships them, its all fucking bullshit/scam, poor dude became a slave puppet and got to see his daughter in a WORSE state then what she was b4 the wish, legit feelsbadman for the dude but alas that's karma he gets for sacrificing the innocent just to see his daughter :angery:

They were too late to save anyone and due to that man's own selfish desire he won't listen to a single word of advice.

Because it ended the fighting and got him to completely be at Rania's will.

Sure it sucks but to ensure no one else dies, especially with Lark being right there as a potential victim, its the best choice.

I dont think its meant to be fully "satisfying" no matter what.

Ah yes, something something the taboo of disregarding the sanctity of life and death, blah blah blah acceptance of the human condition, wow, so deep, such philosophical :dogewow:
I think this is one of the most inane, asinine things I've seen posted in a while.

Because they are already at the end of the rope, they already try to save who they can, and it ended the fighting. Then.. Its not like his wish is really fulfilled.

Its said that the scale can just call them briefly, so I believe she will be dead again after the power is gone.

yea I didn't take it as a permanent thing either, ngl it reminded me of when edward and bro resurrected their dead mom which was also temporary but still horrible :nyoron:

Unless I read it wrong, he's binding himself as a complete slave to the MC. Such a slave would be a very useful tool to the MC.

Disgusting, but the price (sacrifices, etc.) have already been paid, and the insane fool volunteered/wanted to do it... All for a reward which is more a damnation. Because he was out of his freaking mind with obsession over his daughter.

And considering all of the people he has murdered, it's not an entirely unfit punishment for him.

If I were MC, I'd probably want to just kill him, but then accept it since the useful slave/tool might be needed in the future in the super high stakes game the MC is playing.
