this might be one of my fav chapters, got my two favorite characters, lin and joseph, and it's got all the classic inky stuff to the max, but without being too gross, more unnerving, and the chapters also pretty funny too 10/10 chapter

also this is just me but this manhua is much more interesting than the I Am a Cultivation Bigshot. the link stated just became stale in about chapter 100+ because of some frustrating bullshit(can't pin-point since i don't read it anymore and can't remember it). i hope this manhua doesn't became like that. i compared the two since they're both about complex misunderstandings

It's kind of hard to pinpoint Lin's actual powers. He did ask for a library with all knowledge in existence. Maybe it's a situation of him unwittingly being used by Inky, yet Lin's thirst for knowledge is slowly balancing out the partnership to the point where he is eventually gaining control. He's slowly gathering objects of power and complete loyalty from the various individuals he helps as customers. And that's been the case all along. He's always looking to "expand his customer base". Not realizing that's how he's cultivating power.

No question that Inky is the catalyst that is "making things work". But he just uprooted the curse that killed one of the most powerful beings to ever exist in that world. The curse that caused that being to ultimately kill himself.

They definitely know how to keep the mystery alive from chapter to chapter.

It's more like a symbiotic kind of relationship imo.
I think that MC is a kind of medium or anchor point for that entity to interact with the world, so he protects and helps him out in return for MC helping it spread it's influence in the world (even though he's not aware of that fact in particular).

Awesome chapter. Nice to see the living decorations look at each other for comfort. We got some great Inky lore, and a glimpse at some of its true forms.

This is now my favourite manhua, it's so so so good, I love the art, the characters ("good" and "bad") the mystery, the humour.
It really is one of the best I've ever read.

At first, I had my doubts, and the setting made little sense, but it has done a good job of fleshing it out.
And then the art... also one of the best, especially for Chinese, that I've seen so far.
