1. thanks for the chapters
2. consistency is important and those points are very good
3. rest and fun are important so in my opinion, as long as the delay of a new chapter isn't more then a month there is no need for concern and for those longer then a month a warning or changing the status tu hiatus would be appreciated.
That's all have a nice day/night.

Xiao should always be translated be it western or Chinese or etc. The reason is simple, for most people reading they end up assuming Xiao is their last name due to how Chinese names work. This can lead to huge issues as when multiple people are called Xiao you end up thinking they are related.

With meaning of Xiao lost and creating confusion, any translation insisting on using it is a sign of poor translation.

PS again spacing on some text seems to be lost

The last part is on purpose. But the part when Lin Jie woke up is an error. I'll fix it later when I wake up.

I personally like the translated names since It is easier to remember and associate them with who they represent.
I always struggle with the chinese (and also japanese, korean, etc) names, and if the conext doesn't point to specific person, then I usually don't know who they mean in some conversations when they use names.
In that case I usually think that there should be some character cheatsheet when the names and faces of the characters would be shown and very short description who they are (like brother of x, teacher, etc) :D

How can someone who suffered such injustice so easily inflict it on others?
It's pretty common for kids who were molested to grow up to be molesters themselves later in life, and the same goes for all other types of abuse. It's not a definite thing, but the victim-to-abuser cycle is well documented, if a bit disturbing.

"It's pretty common for kids who were molested to grow up to be molesters themselves later in life"
I'm pretty sure that's not completely true- Trauma does usually lead to dysfunction (if not treated correctly) but not necessarily to the same kind of trauma.

It does thought? That's what 'repetition compulsion' is.
The consensus on the 'why' has changed a lot over the years, but the fact that repetition compulsion both exists and is prevalent is highly documented, not just in abuse victims, but that's the part that's relevant here. Again, it's not 100% likelihood, but for whatever reason humans have a tendency to try to replicate previous experiences later in life. In this context, the type of environment and experience they try to repeat is their trauma, sometimes as an unconscious response to repressing those same experiences.

Man I knew I hate utoon for the censor
But mtl too?
They've always been using MTL to translate this manhua. If you compare the old chapters I re-translated with theirs, you'll see they got a lot of terminology wrong, like rendering "Elfrith Kingdom" as "Alfred Kingdom". Plus, the author included a lot of important and humorous references that they completely missed, because they don't understand Chinese idioms or the references being made. They only cared about speed-posting over quality, which seriously diminished the overall quality of this manhua.
