FL needs to realize that when she reincarnates, it’s not just a novel anymore it’s reality...

I cringed a little in the part they were hiding. It reminded me of my elementary years 😬

Can we just have a little bit of common sense in these types of stories? Like seriously dude. She reincarnated in a world full of people, not characters. She doesn't treat them as humans. She treats them as robots who will do their job of following a script. A little bit of common sense and these types of stories would be so so much better.

@StellarIceberg I agree with you to an extent there, but at the same time no one's actually ever experienced traveling to a completely different world and ending up in the body of someone else. I could only imagine how jarring that would be so it may be natural to cling to whatever form of control you have. In this case, that's the storyline. For Louise, the storyline sort if anchored her through the experience because at least she felt she knew how things would play out and how she would then need to act accordingly. I think it's less that she doesn't see others as real people, and more that she's afraid the unknown. The story in a way helped her but it also gave her preconceived ideas of the people around her and how things should be. Seeing things shift away from what she's always believed in/depended on is probably making her feel she's lost her way again.

Moreover, Louise seems to struggle with distinguishing what's her and what's the original. I think she still believes that her feelings for Ian may not be her own but are a side effect of the original's feelings. If she hasn't even accepted herself fully yet in this world, it would be unlikely for her to readily accept the changes in others.

Interesting. So, the Prince's mother was also a commoner. With that in mind, and given how she was likely treated her entire life, even as the Empress, Ian probably thinks that Louise's attempts to keep him at a distance means that she doesn't want to end up like his mother.

@StellarIceBerg riiight? Plus characters like Louise are always going on about how the world should follow the plot, but then they themselves don't follow it??? And then act surprised when stuff starts to turn out different? Like their words don't match their actions. I still love her though she's hecka cute

Bruhhh when she couldn't "see" Ian, i--😂.
She may not be the brightest crayon in the box lol. But for real, I can understand how people are a little disappointed in her character, but the FL had a past life where she was suppperrr insecure and probably had other inferiority complexes. So all those problems aren't just gonna magically disappear when being put in a new body and in a new world that's based on a fictional story, especially when she hasn't talked to anybody about it.

Thanks for the great chapters!! <3

I actually get why some FLs think the world won't change with a bit of their messing around with it. I think many of them believe that the world will right itself somehow even if they don't play along. It makes sense if they still consider it all a game as well. It means that they believe there's a higher power controlling the fates of the heroine and ML. Plus like @ Rolyat_101 said, Louise is someone who struggles with insecurities. It's not out of the norm for her to act the way she has been.

also @ Aeriandra had a good point as well.

What I never understood is why Louise is disliked by that brunette teacher or maybe I'd just forgotten.

I hate when fls do that- they over think the original plot line and it’s soooo annoying . Can’t u see that your change in character has already affected the plot? God it’s annoying
