Image quality seems a touch off.

For some reason the image quality of MD seems a tiny bit off, and it's not just my computer, but every single device I've looked into. It's not my internet either as it shows on every test as just fine, and I even tried it with just phone data as well. I talked to a few friends in completely different states and they are having the same types of issues. All images seem very slightly fuzzy at the edges and text has the same issue for any font size larger then 8. This issue is on both light mode and dark mode, web browser (computer and phone) and even the app. This issue seemed to have started very late December 29th.

Open an affected image in a new tab, see if it's still happening. Link an affected chapter, too.

Also, check to see that you don't have data-saver turned on in your account settings. We haven't changed anything regarding chapter images in a long time.

What browser are you using, and what version are you using?

It is still totally random on some images for any chapter of any manga.
It is not set to data-saver mode and I checked that the very first time it happened.
It doesn't show in screen shots, only in actually viewing of a chapter.
Browser has been Chrome, Explorer, Firefox, Bing on phone, Chrome on phone, Explorer on Xbox, and Bing on Xbox. (I don't know how to check the exact versions for each saddly.) This is across a Chromebook, Xbox, both an Apple and Android phone, a HP laptop, and whatever the old relic is at the public library.
I looked with a friends account and his only has this issue with the home page pictures and not text and his settings have been left on default since 2019.
Any other things I can add to this or look into would be nice.

I can corroborate this - yesterday, I was seeing some lower res images on my phone (Android 13 [old phone is old], Chrome 131, via mediocre wi-fi from a local ISP) when working through the forums, though those did seem to go to better resolution after a few seconds. Not seeing any of that today, nor did I notice it yesterday when using the laptop. Wondering if it wasn't somehow related to what seemed like a general slow-down yesterday (due to heavier traffic, as @BraveDude8 noted elsewhere).

Have you got a VPN you can try, to rule out any ISP issues?

We don't have any methods in place for serving lower quality images, aside from data-saver which is opt-in and only impacts images inside of chapters.

I have changed nothing, and not even tried to alter settings as of around noon Jan 3, and all the issues have stopped for some unknown reason. Doing some digging, the only explanation I can come up with is the internet issues that were happening because of a lot of storm damage a few cities over. If that could have been the issue, then you would know better, if not, then I have no clues what-so-ever. Either way, thank you for taking the time to try and help.
