So eeriely on point. I understand Minori tho... that part where she said. "And you will say, I will suffer for the family" i hate that too. Like for real... but Hajime is right too. People with debt has no right to keep being selfish and only do what he likes..

Just because you are trying to clean up your mess, doesnt mean you given up on your *stupid* dream. You gotta find the middle ground between immaturity and maturity

"You have to balance between formula and breast milk"--uh, no you don't. Maybe that's Japanese folk wisdom, but just for the record it's completely mistaken. Formula can be unavoidable depending, but it's far second best--you use as much breast milk and as little formula as you possibly can.

i mean if he wanted her to explain herself he should've just asked her why she was late rather than jumping into berating her immediately. I seriously dislike people who's first reactions to any infractions are overbearing and aggressive and who know that, but rather than making any effort to change that instinctual reaction, instead just defer the responsibility for avoiding any negative fallout onto whoever they're blowing up at. Like, you're a boss and you can't explain things to your employees in a calm and clear manner? that seems more like a defect on your part then any fault of the employee, who again, would have no recourse if you were to fire them. Like, "stand up for yourself, " people have to feel safe and comfortable doing so first! The reason she jumps to assuming that shes at fault here is bc of the dynamic you've set, where rather than explaining that "this is unnecessary", "i think your skillset is better employed elsewhere" or, best yet! "thank you, but no" you either brush her off or immediately start critiquing her? like these are skills she's developed in her previous workplace that suited her very well there actually, and if she were to go back they'd be glad to have her doing all those things that you brush off as useless frittering! Like maybe as a manager its this guy's responsibility to grow some tact!

edit:
also hajime def should've consulted minori before making decisions like this abt their shared financial situation, like wanting to be out of debt before starting one's dream career is understandable, but a 9 to 5 comes with its own troubles. minori obviously has a clear vision of how to acheive their goals, and hajimes new attitude unilaterally disregarded that. "its pathetic for me to be supported by you"? his attitudes towards childrearing are also kinda eeehhh? like if clearing their debt was a priority then the best immediate move would've been to beg shimako to let them take her up on her deal. Like there was definitely a way for both of them to work towards clearing the debt more aggressively, but hajime de facto shunting minori into a homekeeper role was not the move and doesnt really bode well for their future as a couple
