I have no animosity towards the mother, but why would he need to prove that he has changed to her? He hasn't made any request of her that would be contingent on him having changed. She decided he changed on her own and then asked him to prove her idea correct. I'm sure he will go along with it because that seems to be the flow, but, like, he hasn't asked to get back together. Just seems strange to me. 😐
