He let them way to easy off... he should make them puppets while their souls get eternally tortured and their body goes to kill their group and family slaughtering them all, after that make them go to the police and confess all evils they ever done including proof of their deeds then cripple their martial art weaken their body and let them rot in prison while their soul gets tortured till it's completely destroyed.
