Okay that's exaggerated. The point is the dude is looked down upon by his new wife and doesn't do anything to improve that in over 20 chapters.

The problem with this manga is the fact they have too little pages per chapter for this kind of story compared to other series. Each chapter always feels incomplete because of it and no i don't mean it in cliffhanger way, i mean it in this doesn't feels complete at all.
