Thanks for the chapter!
So in this world if a man wants to cultivate quickly he has to be castrated, otherwise has to study Taoism which takes significantly much longer to level up, right? Would like to see Ye Chang's face when finds out MC had studied for 300 years. She seems to be getting a crash course in politics both inside and outside the family.
Is there a cultural reason why people in China shake with their left hand? In US it's traditional from way back when to usually offer the dominant right hand partially to show not holding a weapon and intend peace along with hygiene being a lot worse so the left hand used to wipe up was considered unclean. Also, why are they shaking right hands when the aunt offered her left? Interesting how the aunt was the one to give the crushing grip handshake rather than the mother. Anyone know if it's a hierarchy or physical strength reason?
Looks like the wannabe head aunt and niece are looking for trouble again. Niece seems in good condition considering what happened last time. Come to think of it, does anyone know how much time has passed inside the story between now and last time MC met them?
