Hopefully the MC learns not to underestimate women, even if it doesn't seem like they can fight or cultivate. I wonder what Qiao Wei sees in him. Considering her knowledge it wouldn't have been too much trouble for her to give him something that could've crippled or severely weakened him so couldn't pursue if she ran away yet not only didn't she run away but gave him her first kiss and virginity. Seems like whatever she dosed him with is still in his system.
Btw, does anyone know why Qiao Wei was expelled? Seems to really know her stuff so I can only guess that she either refused (like sleep with x or else and she picked or else,) or ticked someone in power off (like rich kid with silver spoon suppose to be a genius but kept falling behind her, couldn't beat her or deal with jealousy so used unscrupulous means to pull her out of rankings.) Then again, Li family could have arranged it so could get someone skilled desperate for income for less pay and would be eager to please and wouldn't have anyone of influence missing her if she disappeared.
