@Nafizlatan It's more exploit loopholes. Like sailors they can use 1 wife by country or something similar. And then say it's "business travel" for some of them that cheat on their wife IRL. Otherwise they all know each others (harem separated by plane travel) and keep it private.

Polygamy isn't allowed, yes but that's only officially. One could just marry one as the legal wife and have the rest as mistresses. Monogamy merely disallowed more than one official and legal spouse. Nothing is preventing one from having relationship with other women and treats them as wives. Being in a monogamy society doesn't automatically makes you a faithful-to-one person. Why else do you think people cheat on their partners despite being in monogamy countries?

Ahh, I wanted to see how he explained himself to Chen Huahua and tried to keep her from getting too attached the morning after. Should have asked Zhiyan what wanted instead of ordering for her. Raised her suspicians since he knew what she liked and her preferences might have changed with society. Wonder if she missed the assassins' presence due to being confused over her feelings for MC. In any case, of all things he had to throw why did he throw a perfectly good bowl and waste food!? Should never waste food! Be nice if Zhiyan wakes up and is able to handle the other assassin herself. Wonder if assassins are targeting her because her family is in a bit of a bind and thus more likely vulnerable, their boss a competitor and wants to remove a bigger company from their way, or some idiot from a big family who wanted to be with her but took getting turned down badly?
@Nafizlatan Don't know about those countries' monogamy law in detail, but that usually means can only have one official marriage partner. Granted with enough power an exception could be made, although would probably be looked down on and be really expensive. In any case, only morals and parties involved apply for an unofficial relationship like boyfriend/girlfriends or him having multiple relationships but not marrying anybody officially. Just rarely done publicly as most men or women aren't interested in a serious relationship with somebody who won't treat them as their one and only. That, or the relationship is done quietly except at parties or orgies where it's understood that it's either a one night stand, friends with benefits, and any relationships are casual not serious.
