Lucky for the MC he studied. Is it me or is the teacher the one from the cover whose face is hidden by her hair. The hair color and style between the two look the same except for the butterfly hair clip, although she might not wear that at work due to trying to look professional or school rules on appearances. Will be interesting to see how she falls for him, although might be a couple dozen chapters later after all the auction business is concluded. Wonder if she comes from a strong family or sect directly or indirectly. Going by the usual templates it's unlikely for her background to be just that of a school teacher with a commoner family line as having secrets or a strong family/sect makes her character more interesting. Guess will have to wait and see to find out.
@Velsy She was exhibiting the aura of certain death. If he stood against her he would not leave the battle without serious injuries even if he somehow managed to win.
@Velsy The aura thing isn't a "you are going to die from my gaze alone" type thing, it's more of a expression of force of will indicating dire consequences if don't comply and a firm conviction allowing no compromise. Hasn't your mother ever given you that kind of stare when you didn't want to do something just because and exasperated her? Also, MC smart enough to know when to give face and not cause trouble. If he flipped off the teacher he could've gotten suspended or expelled at worst, and even if didn't his parents would've received a phone call putting him in a very bad light.

@Mathiason it was all bluff and pretending, she has no aura of death. What could she do to him. ....really, at most give him detention.
