@Ohgodpleaseno I feel like I haven't read too many manga where a little sister would be shipping her best friend actively with her brother. In fact I can't immediately name any other series off the top of my head. I'm sure they exist, maybe I've even read them, but it's more difficult to remember them. Supportive sisters as such are nothing new, of course.

I have tested the guide by sharing it with a good amount of people from different regions (North America, Asia, Australia etc)
All of them were able to vote easily without any problems and confirmed that the instructions were clear enough.

So i am pretty sure its a problem on your end with you or your network etc. I have had an niconico account for more than 2 years now i haven't revived any spam. Your statements are both wrong and disappointing.

They didn't require my e.mail address for laughs, and any email that I get from them is spam, as it is unwanted and got without the promised trade of being able to promote the creator.

It might sometimes work, but when it doesn't the person attempting to vote with have been defrauded.

I checked against that possibility when I got the blank screen. I enabled JavaScript for the relevant domain,* and ensured that UBlock Origin wasn't blocking anything.

*The instructions, of course, failed to identify the sites for which JavaScript needed to be enabled, because the persons writing those instructions don't really understand how things work.

If you're getting spam from them, it's probably because you didn't opt out of their emailing program, and should probably do.
I not really sure why you're so adamant on recommending that nobody vote when it's an obviously painless and pretty fast.
Stop being stubborn, or you can go kick rocks somewhere else. Probably at mangakalot or something.

I cannot opt out of the e.mailing program because I cannot get to that choice. I registered by way of Facebook. That installed their app and handed my email address to them. I thereafter got the blank screen. I cannot login to vote; I cannot login to change my account settings.

(I can create a new e.mail account, and change my Facebook account to use that. But most people gave their principal email addresses to Facebook, and cannot create or discard addresses as easily as I can.)

I'm not recommending that no one vote. Again, pay attention and think. I'm recommending that no one attempt to vote because, in registering, they must surrender their e.mail address, and then the promise of a vote may not be kept.
