Am I the only one who has no idea wtf happened this chapter

I have no idea I mean first of all had he already had sex with his girlfriend in this chapter there are some hints but it's not clear enough. It feels like a few chapters were skipped

His deduction about connection speeds is entirely off base, though it is a very common misconception. Online games do not need a high speed connection, they actually use so little bandwidth you can comfortably game on a 56k modem, what screws you over in gaming is latency and connection instability. You do however need bandwidth to stream video, especially for something like a video call that streams video both ways, so not having the connection speed to do video calls does not mean the connection is too slow for gaming.
