Got kinda worried, went looking for spoilers, and got my confirmation! This is pretty far into the tragedy and horror genres (more than I had thought it would be) as far as the book goes so I decided to drop it. Thank you Speedcat for your uploads! This just is not my cup of tea.

idk if this helps buuuuuut; she has been there a loooong time, so has he, they both don't remember. There is death, torture, a dead child, incest, constant misunderstandings for drama, the side stories have open endings (not in the good way), and more! While they do get out of the mansion, I just couldn't sit through all that.
