When angel enters the auditorium, she gets scolded and is told hey go pick a seat but she purposely chooses a nobility seat directly behind Rena, Aria and Shine get into a argument which can only be heard onesided because Angels magic is to low for others to hear shine talk but spirits can communicate openly between each other. Basically shine is pulling a I'm gonna become renarias spirit too just you wait vibe. After this scene when the prince is done speaking everyone leaves and we head to the dorm. Inside renarias room klaus who is not mentioned in the manga get but has appeared literally like 10 times up till this point in the in the web novel that the manga is at Talks to Anna ( The maid ) about the events of the opening. Klaus has an being a knight knows all the important figure heads of the sheridan's lands notices that Angel is actually a mayors daughter of the territory and is on ultra guard mode because she could pose a threat. The next morning Angel who is suppose to be in class during this segment basically trys to corner rena in the nobilities courtyard and starts going off about how she's a saint and klaus shouldn't disrespect her and because Rena's bodyguard threatened her she is going to get Rena expelled and Klaus should be helping her as much as he helps Rena because "everyone is equal in school" essentially she throws a huge fit tells rena I'ma princes chosen then vanishes with a bunch a boys. Rena goes to class and sees Angel sitting in her seat.

This is the difference in the novel instead of rena confronting angel a teacher does instead and soon other events happen that the next chapter loosely follows.
