The whole cohabitation situation felt a bit contrived at first, but the "...Ahh, I see now. I was scared of raising her alone." line in this chapter makes the cohabitation feel more understandable now.

Dude got too depressed from translating a book, I'd get that if its his own work, if its bullshit then youre just going to own it and keep on doing the retarded shit or maybe stop. Unless he put in too much of his own shit in the translation, then I guess coupled with his condition he wrecked himself even more than a decently mentally stable person would. But still, I dont know man, dude is kinda an asshole himself , everyone does something for money but this guy hates his decent honest work that got him money.
