You and I both. We are migrating some of our series (especially the ones which were nuked here) elsewhere. So, just in case things go pear shaped with MD, and it just disappears overnight (stranger things have happened) then we're encouraging people to join out Discord server to get the latest on where and how people can view all of our series.
Thanks for sticking with us whilst we're catching up, I can't wait to get into uncharted territory!

Thanks, myself and Pirato were fans of this even before we started scanlating. Several of our series have moved elsewhere, but I think it may be only a matter of time before all out series go the same way. It's been made quite difficult to post anything here now. Joining the DC is the best idea as I we can actually tell you where everything is going. Can't really do that here

Ya'll might want to avoid putting any content on your Discord server. Apparently Discord has partnered with DomoAI and it's actively feeding off of all servers.

It's only a stopgap measure, but you'll want to ban the user ID 1153984868804468756 (it won't show up in your server's member list) and disable external apps under your @ everyone role settings.

It's unfortunate, but it looks like both Discord and MD are done for in the scanslation scene.

After speaking with my tech guy, this all seems to be somewhat of a nothing-burger and false info. The original post (which was false in the first place) was saying that they partnered to allow their LLM to train images, nothing about scraping for DMCA purposes etc. Appreciate the heads up though.

I looked at your post history and you seem to spreading this misinformation in various places. I would recommend you to do a bit of research before you spread misinformation.

Discord did partner with DomoAI, but not for the purpose of training on people's images and definitely not for DMCA related stuff. Due to this partnership DomoAI now has an app/bot in discord. You can use it two ways.

One is via inviting it to a server. Like all other bots. "Ban [insert userid]" is just preemptively banning it, we can ban any bot/user in discord as long as we know their userid even if they aren't in the server.

Another is user side. So, you can connect the app to your account and use it via that. This is not impacted by server bans, as this is on the users side. So the user can remix(the service that DomoAI provides) any image they are able to access even if the server doesn't want them to. You could always do this by downloading that image and then uploading it to AI services, this just makes it easier. And disabling that permission just makes the messages not show up for anyone other than that user, not prevent it's use.

I will further recommend you to get into the habit of researching the things you say before you say them.

This series is getting nowhere... I don't know what the author is thinking of how to progress the story... It's always a blur. One thing this is this, then he went and do this... For the love of the users, please stop destroying this series... Well, it's mostly destroyed.
