An excellent 00s series about self-discovery and separating oneself from a heteronormative society. The protagonist is multifaceted, flawed, and messy in a way that feels realistic even if it means her doing stuff that's morally bad. The main romance is great, as is its discussion of lesbian culture. Would definitely recommend!
