both only retain their own memories. So Female Lead 1 only retains her memories up until she died, whereas Female Lead 2 was able to investigate and figure out more stuff afterwards.

I want to like this so bad but sadly it seems a bit sloppy and just not for me. I feel like the relationship between them feels missing something... if you know she knows so much why not investigate? It feels like a book that could be way shorter but they're going to drag it on or rush it towards the end... truly I don't think I'll be coming back to this even though the art style is so beautiful.
