This was such a weird and baffling way of explaining a thesis...
=> How can anyone even take her seriously ?

Seeing how there's 10 volumes more and it's still ongoing i doubt the carrier outbreak will actually end

Ahh, it wouldn't be a zombie series without nonsensical pseudoscience lol.

Also, the prevailing theory supported by evolutionary biologists these days is not that life started in the sea (the "primordial soup" hypothesis), but on hills that were relatively drier.

Kind of crazy this could feel like the end if I didn’t know there are 10 more volumes out lol

It was a lot better when they were just running around trying to survive.

This is kinda meh.

If you based all your knowledge of the Japanese on animu and mango, you’d think they were the least scientific people in the world. It’s either Schroeder’s cat or absolutely baffling nonsensical infodumps with no tangible link to actual science, or in most cases even reality itself.

Uhms, this entire chapter trying to explain how the virus started and all... is a bit... I think I used to appreciate this manga a lot more at the beginning.

She just used some scientific information and invented some shit to make it look like she helped save the world at all. In the end, the main point of the thesis is that the worms are the ones turning people into monster which has been obvious from the start. Even saying that the work of the scientists are the ones who will make ending the outbreak possible. All she did was increase everyone's morale and that's it.

@MidnightTide Agreed. Survival from mindless creatures with intense scenes is what people are looking for when they watch or read a zombie apocalypse-based story, not some explanation of some made-up pseudoscience BS.
