Kyle is too arrogant and sure of his power. Apparently didn't learn from the test about properly using his power much less reflect that while his wind wall protected everyone it intensified the flames of the opponent. Or consider that there is a reason they're suppose to fight in pairs. After all, how's his partner suppose to learn anything or gain experience in combat if watching from the side lines and not participating. At least the flame witch is better in understanding on working with others as a team and when to forge ahead on her own. Kyle will probably have to learn the hard way that needs to work in cooperation more and stand out and above less. Unfortunately this test will likely just would his pride and make him more determined to stand out rather than learn properly.
