Basically, Goat people abducted ancient humans to conduct experiment in Minerva. Ancient humans injected with enzyme that makes them smart + aggressive.

Those modified humans got abandoned, while Goat people ran away.

They became two opposing factions, Cerians and Lambians.

Fighting everywhere, even on the moon.

Lambians blow up Minerva, and some of them escaped to some faraway planet.

Some Cerians managed to escape to Earth, and get 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴𝔂 with earth humans, passing the enzyme to earth humans & slowly evolve into earth humans themselves.

Lambians (Sverenssen and gang) still hate Cerians and modern humans (since they have Cerian genes)

Thanks, interestingly this chapter showed Lambians to be visually distinct from the cerians despite evolving from the same species. I guess the peace farts are lambian-earth human hybrids too.

That's a good guess!
In Chapter 18, page 29, the awkward translation is actually trying to convey that Sverenssen's family genes are diluted by human genes, which is a concern for them.
This means they are not pure-blooded Lambians.
