What a sad sight. What has become of you, Charles-Henri Sanson? Was your sister right after all? Is your dream dead and buried? Or is it far from over and what you see in your sleep indicates that? Old Charles-Henri would indeed be sad, would indeed have cried, seeing what he's become now.
It's sad, but kinda true. So many childish dreams I had once are nowhere to be found now, never amounting to anything.
I'm deeply disturbed, although it WAS consensual, to what happened between the prince and Charles-Henri. SEEMED to have happened, yes, but I think it has. 8 years prior my boy went in there and said "I'm no different than you, nobles". And he was right sadly. He's no different.
